We are seeking a creative and versatile Multidisciplinary Designer to join our ATW Studio team in Cardiff. The ideal candidate thrives across multiple disciplines, enjoys experimenting with new approaches, and is passionate about exploring innovative ways to bring ideas to life.

This role focuses on delivering high-quality outputs across physical and digital platforms, including events, activations, installations, models, and immersive experiences. The Multidisciplinary Designer will combine a strong foundation in design with a curiosity for emerging trends and techniques, ensuring that all work is imaginative, cohesive, and effective.

THE ROLE

  • Work across multiple disciplines, contributing to physical and digital projects, including events, activations, print, spatial design, models, and immersive experiences
  • Translate concepts into clear, creative, and high-quality outputs, maintaining strong design fundamentals across all projects
  • Experiment with new ideas, approaches, and formats, while ensuring consistency and alignment with the ATW Collective brand
  • Collaborate closely with Lead Designers, Producers, and the wider creative team to deliver innovative solutions
  • Prepare and deliver artwork and design assets for both physical and digital execution
  • Support ideation sessions, testing concepts and new techniques to enhance creative outputs
  • Stay current with industry trends, tools, and technologies to explore new ways of engaging audiences
  • Contribute to on-site delivery when required, helping bring experiences, activations, and spaces to life
  • Participate in feedback sessions and proactively improve processes, output quality, and creative approaches

Required skills and qualifications

  • 4+ years of professional design experience across multiple creative sectors, with exposure to physical, digital, and experiential outputs
  • Strong design fundamentals: composition, typography, colour, spatial awareness, and user experience
  • Curious, adaptable, and open to experimenting with new formats, tools, and approaches
  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and deliver high-quality work under tight deadlines
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Comfortable working across disciplines that span 3D, graphic and digital, from concept development to on-site implementation
  • A portfolio demonstrating versatility and high-quality work across projects, spaces, campaigns, or experiences
